The Challenge
Lack of Vehicle Visibility:
Godrej Chemicals’ Valia plant, spread across 150+ acres, had multiple loading points but no centralized way to track vehicles or know their current status.
Manual Coordination with Transporters:
Once a DO was sent to a transporter, there was no visibility on whether it was accepted or when the vehicle would arrive for loading — requiring continuous manual follow-ups.
The Solution
TiTo Yard Management
CargoFL introduced a multi-point yard management system.
- Each vehicle’s real-time position and status were captured as soon as it entered the loading point.
- Accurate TAT could be calculated at every location, giving the logistics team complete visibility.
Vehicle Indent & DO Bridge
- Transporters could accept DOs digitally, changing their status automatically to “Plan.”
- Vehicle and driver details were captured in CargoFL, showing pickup times and order status in real time.
- This automation minimized manual calls and follow-ups, saving daily coordination time for the logistics team.
